Accessibility statement
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a keyboard, screen reader, magnification or Arabic right-to-left reading. We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page is plain HTML that works without JavaScript; calculators add to it rather than replace it.
- A “skip to content” link, one main heading per page, labelled form fields and visible focus outlines.
- Text colours meet AA contrast; gold is used for buttons on dark text, not for small text on white.
- Pages work at 390 pixels wide and at 200% zoom, and respect the “reduce motion” setting.
- Arabic pages use proper right-to-left layout and an Arabic typeface.
Known limits
Some charts in the calculators convey a breakdown visually; the same figures are always given as text beside them. Linked government PDFs are outside our control and may not be fully accessible.
