The short answer
UAE courts rely on registered experts to report on accounts, damages, profit shares and fraud. Experts before federal judicial authorities are regulated by a decree-law in force since 2 January 2023, with registration in the Ministry of Justice roster. We prepare independent financial expert reports for courts and arbitration.
Who regulates court experts in the UAE?
Experts appearing before federal judicial authorities fall under the decree-law regulating the profession of experts, in force since 2 January 2023, which sets registration in a Ministry of Justice roster, duties and discipline (UAE Legislation portal). Local judicial authorities can run their own registers: Sharjah issued its own court expertise law in August 2026, requiring experts to be registered with its Judicial Department (Khaleej Times).
What cases need a financial expert?
Partnership and shareholder disputes, unpaid contract and construction claims, employee and management fraud, banking disputes and damages calculations. In each, the expert reconstructs the financial picture from the books, bank records and contracts, and answers the specific questions the court sets, nothing more.

What makes an expert report hold up?
Clear instructions, a stated method and evidence for every figure. Our reports list the documents reviewed, explain each calculation step and state the limits of each conclusion, so the other side's challenges meet answers already on the page. Independence comes first: we check conflicts before accepting any instruction.
Do you act in arbitration too?
Yes. Arbitration centres can set their own rules for experts, and the federal law excludes experts regulated under that separate framework (UAE Legislation portal). The method is the same: an independent opinion on the financial questions, written for the tribunal.
Which expert specialisms do you cover?
Three account for most instructions. As a fraud expert we trace misappropriated funds, test journals and reconstruct cash movements. As a banking and finance expert we recalculate interest, fees and facility balances against the signed terms. As a partnership dispute expert we value shares, reconstruct capital accounts and test withdrawals and profit allocations. Each report follows the duties set by the experts law (UAE Legislation portal).
